"An appraiser is a little bit like being a CSI agent, and a lot like being a detective. There is always more to the story of an item, than you see on the surface. Working with all types of clients is the fun part of the job of appraising. Being able to provide clients with valuable information about the many unique items they bring to me is the joy of appraising."
My talents as an appraiser are:
The ability to really listen to my client and discover what they need me to do.
My love of history and research.
My background of over twenty years as an antique dealer.
Some learned skills and a love of photography.
"When I'm not working with clients, you can find me in the kitchen, baking, on the patio, reading, or volunteering in our local community.
However, my newest interest is: Fly fishing! I can't wait for a weekend that I'm free of work, so I can hit the mountain streams to fly fish. Being from Montana, and the daughter and grand-daughter of two terrific fly fishermen must have had its influence on me. Happily, my husband, Ron, my son, Matt and my dog, Mishka, share my passion for fly fishing.
